Petrostar Petroleum Corporation (TSX-V-PEP) (www.petrostarpetroleum.ca) is pleased to announce that Mr. Eunho Lee of Victoria, BC has been appointed to the Company’s board of directors effective immediately. Mr. Lee has over 15 years experience of sales and marketing management with Global Fortune 200 companies and most recently served as Director of Trade Marketing for Japan Tobacco USA Incorporated and as Business Development Manager for Imperial Tobacco Canada Ltd., responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans, building brand, product and corporate equity with key supply chain clients. He has led Sales and Marketing teams in achieving over $ 300 Million in annual sales and successful new brand launches. Additionally he has a strong background in market research, consumer analytics and project management which will serve Petrostar well in its future licensing of its ERS and VRS projects.

The Company is also pleased to announce the following appointees to its technical committee.

Mr. Steve Kneitl of Red Deer, Alberta has a background in both aviation engineering and oilfield service equipment including fracturing, acidizing, drilling and cryogenic pumping services and will consult and provide ongoing management of the Company’s ERS downhole tool construction. In addition Mr. John R Conaty of Calgary, Alberta has joined the technical committee. Mr. Conaty has over 33 years of experience in the petrochemical industry and is a consultant in the fields of design and management in scheduling and coordination of plant layout for heavy oil upgrading most recently as a consultant with Accutech Engineering Ltd. Mr. Conaty has also worked on the design of offshore drilling platforms and gas plants in Canada and Saudi Arabia.
The technical committee now consists of Mr. Baiton P. Eng., Mr. S, Kneitl and Mr. J. Conaty. Mr. M Jackson no longer serves on the Company’s technical committee. The Company looks forward to utilize their respective areas of expertise.
